Amazon.com paired it with the Hitachi Simple Tough portable hard drive but it does not fit. The issue was not the case, it is fine. It seems Amazon justs put things it wants to dump with other products without checking to make sure they work.
I have no complaints at all since it does what it is intended to do, protect the hard drives. I have 2 LaCie portable hard drives and one Western Digital My Passport Elite hard drive and the three of them fit perfectly this case. I have take it with me through airports and long travels, and this case has done the work plus it is still looking like new.
It does the job, its a hard case and it also has a velco starp on the inside that holds the drive in place. not to big not to small, does the trick.
There is also a netted pocket to hold the USB cord. I would buy this case again. I like the way my portable hard drive is held snugly in place with an inch wide elastic band. The zipper operates smoothly and the sides of the case are hard.
The thing is, it doesnt fit at all. I bought this case and also a Iomega E-Go external HD, that in the page, showed that most people used to buy them together. I'm really not using it because the HD side is more than double of the case.But for the real purpose, to use in the fitted sized external HD, its a great product, excelent quality.
